Dr. Vladislav Mirchev, MD, PhD is an endocrinologist in Sofia. He provides diagnostics and applies a comprehensive approach to the treatment of a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes and prediabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, reproductive disorders and menopause. He educates patients about nutrition and physical activity in diabetes, overweight and obesity. Dr. Mirchev does not examine children.

Education

He graduated in medicine in 2019 after studying in France (Université Grenoble Alpes) and Sofia. He acquired his specialty in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases after specialising at the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior, and in 2025 he obtained a European Diploma in Endocrinology. He has completed a PhD related to the thyroid gland and a master’s degree in healthcare management.

• European Diploma in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the European Society of Endocrinology and the European Union of Medical Specialists — 2025.
• Menopause treatment certificates from the International Menopause Society.
• Member of the Bulgarian Society of Endocrinology, Bulgarian Medical Association, European Thyroid Association, European Society of Endocrinology, International Society of Endocrinology, International Menopause Society and European Association for the Study of Diabetes.
• Participant in numerous Bulgarian and international scientific forums and congresses.

Biography

Since 2019, he has worked at the Clinic of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior. He is currently also part of the specialist team at Pirotska Medical Centre. Dr. Mirchev also has 8 years of experience as an expert in drug safety and clinical trials. He speaks French and English.
